Cavender’s, known for its western wear, will open a 20,000 sq. ft. store directly across from the Outlets of Mississippi on Bass Pro Drive at The Connection in Pearl, MS!
Groundbreaking for the Cavender’s building is anticipated to take place by early summer 2016, with the Grand Opening expected by the Christmas holiday sales season of 2016.
In a press release issued on April 14th, it stated that “Cavender’s joins Bass Pro Shops, the Holiday Inn, the Outlets of Mississippi, Sam’s Club, and Trustmark Park, home of the MS Braves,” said Matthew Summers, Vice President of Spectrum Capital, primary owners of The Connection. “Additionally, Cavender’s currently has no other location in Mississippi, so customers who previously had to place their orders online, will now be able to shop, feel and touch the merchandise, before buying!” he concluded.
Mike Cavender, son of company founder James Cavender, said, “We are very happy to be coming to Pearl and the Jackson area. The people we have met have really welcomed us and we are looking forward to meeting many more of you!”
