Braves Overall Champions for 2021
What are the odds that a National Baseball Team AND their Double A affiliate would BOTH take home the championship titles?
After a year of uncertainty, cardboard cut-out stadium attendees, and even cancellation of a few games, not only did the Mississippi Braves bring home the Double A South Championship title, the Atlanta Braves won the World Series!
Claiming this title for the second time in the team’s history, the M-Braves finished their season with the “best winning percentage in club history (.604) by finishing 67-44 during the regular season” per the Mississippi Braves website. Read more here about their journey to the championship title.
And it is always great to see so many familiar M-Braves faces helping the Atlanta Braves take home the World Series title as well.
