Tenable.io is licensed annually and valued based on asset, not IP address. This allows customers to use new technologies, such as the cloud, without fear of double counting. Tenable has a defined recruitment and termination process. All employees are required to sign confidentiality agreements as part of their recruitment and all accounts and access keys are immediately revoked upon termination. Tenable Software License AgreementsTenable license and service agreements are as follows. Depending on the products or services you purchase from Tenable, one or more products apply. Tenable Framework AgreementThis is valid for all Tenable products (including Tenable.io, Tenable.sc and Nessus). The default support plan is included in the subscription or purchase of Nessus Professional. The advanced support plan is included in the subscription or purchase of Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and Tenable.sc Continuous View. nessus Professional customers can upgrade to the Advanced Support Plan for an additional fee.

Customers using the Advanced Support Plan can also receive an upgrade to the Premier or Elite support plans, for an additional fee. To obtain technical support from a Tenable Technical Support Engineer (EST), a support plan is required for all Tenable software provisions. Customers who license the subscription software or customers with an active maintenance contract will receive the technical support services described below for the duration of their respective agreements.
