Trustmark Park and the Mississippi Braves will host the 2016 Southern League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 21 (gates open at 2:00pm for batting practice/first pitch at 7:30pm). The event only stops in Pearl once every 10 years, so don’t miss your chance to see all the premier players and some of the game’s top prospects from around the league.
The 2016 Southern League All-Star Game will be the second in Trustmark Park history. The MS-Braves last hosted the Southern League’s version of the midsummer classic in 2007. The game featured several future and current Major Leaguers including Jose Ascanio, Emilio Bonifacio, Jake Fox, Matt Harrison and John Jaso.

Kick-off the All-Star festivities with live music by Tommie Vaughn, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages. Meet and greet the Southern League All-Star Players, Coaches and Front Office staff members, as well as invited guests including Steve Avery, Marquis Grissom, Pete Smith, and Wes Helms.

Trustmark’s A Night with the Stars All-Star Gala
Immediately following Trustmark’s All-Star VIP Cocktail Reception, the party will continue with live music by The Vottage Brothers and Timothy Miller, a Silent auction, FunZone, Southern League All-Star Players & Coaches and Celebrities (Avery, Grissom, Smith, Helms), an Autograph session, and many more fun surprises!

Governor Phil Bryant will be on hand, along with Special Olympics athletes, as well as local media celebrities and local sports celebrities, as well as Avery, Grissom, Smith, Helms, and Southern League All-Star Players and Coaches, in this preliminary game to Trustmark’s 2016 Southern League All-Star game.

Special All-Star Pre-Game Festivities & Ceremonies/Tribute to Heroes
Leading up to Trustmark’s 2016 Southern League All-Star Game there will be plenty of special activities for all to enjoy! Events include Special Forces Association Parachute Team Demonstration which will include active and retired military members as well as current members of the Department of Defense, a “Tribute to Heroes” on-field presentation to all military branches, police departments, fire departments as well as other local heroes and also a special performance from Timothy Miller.

2016 Southern League All-Star Game presented by Trustmark Bank
Join us in the VIP tents outside the Farm Bureau Grill on the right field side of the stadium for Pre and Post-game parties. Party tickets are sold separate from game tickets, but party tickets grant you access to both parties with the same tickets. The Vottage Brothers will be on hand again to entertain guests, and there will be complimentary food, beer, wine and liquor.
