Have we got a list of things for you to do this Fourth of July!
Plan your day around a visit to the Outlets of Mississippi (hours on Monday, Fourth of July are from 10am – 6pm) where you can shop-til-you-drop at over 80 national brand name stores, and local ones too, along with a Food Court with choices for the whole family, and snacks from Great American Cookie Co. and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to fuel your shopping expedition. There will be lot’s of savings and specials over the entire weekend leading up to the Fourth of July sidewalk sale so be sure to bring your wallet!
Next stop is Bass Pro Shops, just a short walk or drive over the bridge from the Outlets of Mississippi, where you can find everything for the outdoor enthusiast (open on Monday, July Fourth from 9am – 9pm)! Star Spangled savings will be going on at the Bass Pro in Pearl that day!
Walk over to the Alumni House Sports Grill, at the Holiday Inn where you can check-in for a pleasurable overnight stay, or just have a libation at the Alumni House Sports Grill bar, along with great snacks! You’ll need a quick fill-up before our last stop of the night.
Onto Trustmark Park, home of the MS Braves for the 7pm game that pits our own Mississippi Braves against the Montgomery Biscuits! Gates open at 6pm first pitch at 7pm. But first, why not stop by Farm Bureau Grill for a great ballpark dinner and drinks? Sit out on the “veranda” where there are tables with umbrellas that have a view of the ballpark while you and your family and friends dine.
Lastly, the culmination of the night’s events will be the MS Braves game, presented by the ALS Association of Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter & H.E.R.O.E.S. for Mississippi. There will be special jerseys displaying an ALS patch and a H.E.R.O.E.S. patch will be worn by the Mississippi Braves and auctioned off during the game. In addition, the players Patriotic style caps, will also be auctioned off. Fans with the winning bids will be escorted to the field following the game to receive the jersey and cap from the player who will autograph the jersey and cap for the winners. All proceeds from the auction will go to the ALS Association and H.E.R.O.E.S. for Mississippi. Stay till the end of the game, when there will be –
