The first place Mississippi Braves return to Trustmark Park on Wednesday, August 17! The M-Braves currently lead the Southern League South Division and look to secure a spot in the 2016 Southern League Playoffs. The Double-A M-Braves return to Trustmark Park for a five-game homestand against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Wednesday through Sunday.
On Wednesday, August 17 through Friday, August 19 the gates will open at 6:00pm for the 7:00pm games versus the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Sponsored by Pizza Hut and MISS 103, this is also AMR First Responders Wednesday. On Thursday, the game is sponsored by Patty Peck Honda, Xfinity and Y101 and its also THIRSTY THURSDAY! And on Friday, the game is sponsored by Dickey’s BBQ, MIX 98.7 & WLBT On Your Side. Friday is also Central MS Steel Magnolias “Pink in the Park” Awareness Night, and will be capped off with FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS!
The series continues against Pensacola on Saturday, August 20 when the gates open at 5:00pm for the 6:00pm game, sponsored by Scotts Miracle Gro. Saturday is also Super Sensational Saturday, High School Football Night, ALS Awareness Night and will be capped off with SATURDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS!
Sunday, August 21 is the last night of the series with Pensacola with the gates opening at 4:00pm for the 5:00pm game, sponsored by Richard Schwartz & Associates and 100.9 The Legend. Sunday is Yogi’s FamilyFest day and will feature the ever popular Kids Run the Bases sponsored by Academy Sports + Outdoors.
