| Tickets for all possible 2016 Southern League playoff games at Trustmark Park are on sale now at the Trustmark Park Box Office! The Mississippi Braves currently lead the Southern League South Division race for the second-half title. If the MS Braves make the playoffs, they will host a minimum of one game and a maximum of six games at Trustmark Park.
Ticket prices for post season games are as follows: Club Level, $25; Home Plate Level, $16; Dugout Level, $14; Field Level, $9; and General Admission/Berm seating, $6. Fans may call 888-BRAVES4, visit mississippibraves.com or stop by the Trustmark Park Box Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to purchase their tickets. If any or all games are not played at Trustmark Park, purchased tickets will be refunded or credited towards 2017 season tickets. The Southern League Division Series and the Championship Series are both best-of-five-game series. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos, first half division winner, will host the first two games for the South Division September 7 and 8 at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Game three of the series is tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 9 at Trustmark Park. If necessary, the M-Braves will host games four and five September 10 and 11. The winner of the South Division Series will face the winner of the North Division Series to determine the 2016 Southern League Champion. The MS Braves appeared in the Southern League playoffs in 2013, marking the third playoff appearance in the team’s history. 2013 was the first MS Braves playoff appearance since the Double-A Braves claimed the 2008 Southern League Championship. Mississippi also appeared in the 2007 South Division Series. Mississippi started a five-game homestand against the Blue Wahoos on August 19 at Trustmark Park. The homestand concluded on Sunday, August 21 with a 5:00 PM game, the outcome of these games was xxx. The MS Braves have hit the road for a 10-game road trip to Biloxi and Chattanooga before wrapping up the regular-season with a five-game set against the Shuckers at Trustmark Park September 1-5. |
| The Mississippi Braves baseball team is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since the inaugural 2005 season, over 100 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues.
